Course Professionals:
Steve Hosack
Your
golf staff is led by PGA Head Professional, Steve Hosack. Steve
started playing when he was 3 years old and had considerable success
as a junior golfer. He turned to the PGA after his college years
at Illinois State. He worked as an assistant professional at Green
Acres Country Club before coming to the south side of Chicago
in 1994. Steve attained his PGA Class A Certification in 1998,
while working under Jay Williams and Bill Abrams who have since
passed on to other courses. Steve has many playing accomplishments
since joining Lincolnshire. To name a few Steve had played in
numerous Illinois Opens and been named to the Heartland Cup. Currently
Steve has the course record at Lincolnshire which was set back
in 2006.
Brad MacFarlane
Brad
MacFarlane is in his second year at Lincolnshire Country Club.
He graduated from South Suburban College in 2007 with an Associate's
Degree in Professional Golf Management. He started his career
at White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point. He is from Dyer, IN
and is getting married in November to his fiancée Renee.
Brad is currently a Level 1 apprentice in the PGA of America PGM
program. He passed his playing ability test this July at University
Golf Club with scores of 75 and 70. Since 2007, Brad also teaches
golf clinics and a junior golf program for the Crete Park District.
